im home
im glad im home
last sunday, my brother, sister in law, niece, my mum and i went to Padang Besar (Thailand)
mama isnt really keen to go
she didnt planned to go like i do (i always do,anytime)
i was like, force her so hard
and when she will to join us, it means everything
we went to the market
we bought a fish, prawns, prawns and lobsters
i am the eater
i just love seafood
too bad that i feel bad if we buy squid that day
so weve decided not to
a must to mention,
of course weve tried some of their local delicacies
cause they are mouth watering
we shall be back, someday
(dekat ja punnn)
i love siamese foods because they are savoury, sweet and sour at once
and of course,
living in the north of Malaysia surrounded by the Thai restaurant,
isnt something to be 'jakun' enough
and i really like Thai foods!
back to the reality
lately ive been watching few cooking videos in the youtube (of course)
i just love to indulge myself by googling photos and videos of foods (isnt make my belly full anyway*sigh*)
then i found 'Laura in the kitchen'
my goodness you should have check her out
this is her website
www.laurainthekitchen.com
the foods look simple to make but it comes out perfectly
i can always imagine her orange roll with cheesy orange glaze
i shall make it one day
it is a must, i supposed
so
however, due to some circumstances
i had to reduce some and add some for the beef stew
so heres my version
Beef Stew
beef
carrot
celery
onion
flour
beef cube
water
salt
pepper powder
sweet soya bean sauce
oil
1.prep time would take up to 5mins.yeah i use only 2++gm of the meat, half of the carrot, an onion and a celery stick
2.pour few drops of oil to your pan.take 1/4 of the onion and fry.put the meat when the onion turns golden.add salt and pepper
3.put the veggies and remaining onion.let fry for a min.then, put some flour.mix them
4.in a small bowl, melt the beef cube with hot water.then add the solution to the pan
5.stir them well.add salt, pepper, soya bean sauce to taste and let until 1 hour and done
i started to make it at 1145pm.by 1245am, it is ready.the juicy meat, warm stew, perfect.i enjoyed my stew just now together with iced lemon tea ^_^/
